These taxis are metered with a flag-fall of FJD$7.50 so ensure the meter is turned on and you have Fiji dollars handy for payment before heading off. |

| Public Buses | Several air-conditioned public buses stopover at the Nadi Airport outside the Departure Terminal. They run several times a day between Lautoka and Suva stopping at major towns and resorts along the way. To travel on a local bus, you can buy disposable e-ticketing cards at the Vodafone outlet in the Arrivals Terminal. In general, travel to any point between Nadi and Suva by bus will cost less than FJD$25. If you’re travelling and have exhausted your credit, simply top up your disposable card at any Vodafone outlet. Any balance remaining on your disposable e-ticket card will be refunded to you in cash at a Vodafone retail or authorized agent outlet. Simply present your disposable cards and a valid ID to get a refund before the card expires (30 days after being issued). |
| Airport Transfers | Both private and shared transfer options are available if you book at least 24 hrs ahead. Visit the transfer desks at the airport (Tourist Transport Fiji (TTF), Rosie Holidays, Tour Managers, Tewaka, Sunny Tours, Go Local Tours), and show your booking confirmation to receive your ticket. They can also accommodate walk-ins if there is space availability in their fleet on the day. Transfers can also be booked with companies based outside the airport. They will arrive before your flight lands and wait in the allocated carpark transfer pickups. The driver will have placard with your name on it to help identify them. |
| Hotel Transfers | Some hotels around Nadi provide a complimentary airport shuttle to and from the hotel while others provide this service at an extra fee. Check with your hotel ahead of your arrival to confirm. |
